Laisen Casual
Laisen Poster
Laisen is a Thai-Latin display typeface family inspired by the vernacular signage of Bangkok, exploring harmonic contrast through two companion styles: Laisen Casual and Laisen Poster.
Laisen Casual is a lively marker-inspired script. Laisen Poster evolved directly from the Casual. With matching proportions, the Poster is a low-contrast sans serif with narrow proportions, in 7 weights. The two styles are designed to work independently and together across signage, posters, advertisments, and other display contexts.
Individually, the Casual style is personal and emotional, while the Poster style is informative and objective. They form a unified pair of distinct voices that can work independently, but are stronger together.
The project is presented through type specimens based on familiar Thai printed ephemera that show the typeface across different sizes and formats, as a celebration of the visual culture that inspired it.

small attachments
small attachments is a series of three book-objects about cuteness. Each book explores the emotional bond between an owner and their beloved cute character, traced through the small attachments they collect and hold dear—physical objects, images, screenshots, and other fragments
carried in their everyday life.
The content is entirely from each owner’s photo collection, paired with text from personal interviews. Through the exploration of materiality and tactility, the book-object toes the line between “book” and “object;” the title itself is a keychain that accessorizes each volume.
